I'm writing this while my eyes are still wet. Go rent "Akeelah and the Bee"--I haven't been inspired by a movie in a long time. I'm too tired to write a real review tonight, and I haven't had a chance to watch the specials features yet (I am quite a features addict) but I had to shout from the rooftops what a great story this is!

did you know sbux sponsored it?? we sold it- and also had travel srcrabble, along with mugs with words from the movie, etc. they went NUTS over that movie- we even had spelling words of the day, and games to play with customers...i could go on, but you get the picture. swzy, boogz, and i may have spelled out our conversations after having seen that movie! HA!
I loved that movie, too!
