I guess I'm not as far away from all you Minnesota friends as I thought...we have Caribou Coffee here.
I've been aching to discover some fun coffee spots in my new city. I found one place that looks fun in Canal Winchester called Harvest Moon Coffee, but I haven't had a chance to go in yet. My exploring and discovery phase of moving to a new city has been put on hold for 3 weeks now since our car broke down and needed a new engine. Until I can venture out again, I'd love coffee advise from any Columbus natives out there.

Sorry Tara. I don't know the east side all that well. I know there are Starbuck's in Pickerington.
Oh yeah. Since you like Dunkin Donuts...Tim Horton's has really good coffee. Seriously!
Coffee rocks! Sorry to hear about the car...you should buy a new one. I replaced an engine in a car once - it wasn't worth it! And please check out that Tim Horton's and let me know what you think - Jamie constantly brags about it...I think I need to hear an unbiased opinion.
Isn't Tim Horton's like a Perkins or something? Doesn't sound that appealing, but I'll check it out just to set the record straight Eric. Jamie and I seldom agree on what coffee is best (i.e. Jamie claims Krispy Kreme coffee is amazing when it actually tastes like cigarettes!)
Tara, I welcome your pessimistic attitude towards Tim Horton's. It will make it sweeter when you eat your words. No, it is not like Perkins. It is more like a little classier Dunkin Donuts. It is a fast food kind of breakfast/lunch place. They have bagels, donuts, etc. for breakfast and soup, samiches, etc. for lunch & dinner. As always, Krispy Kreme coffee tastes great with their donuts. Your just bitter because dunkin donuts' donuts ARE basically stale cigarette butts (have you tried their hard as a rock cake donut series lately). As alwasy this comment is posted with love (for you, but not Eric - he sucks!).

We're not fighting - you were just able to get him so fired up about some silly perkin's-like coffee place that he loves that he had to take out on someone...it's great being me. Blah. So have you tried the coffe there yet?
Not yet. Rory got pretty sick last week and then I caught her cold so we're just sacking out a lot--she can't seem to shake it. I'll definitely go out of my way to try it soon though.
Funny thing--someone brought my mom a pound of Tim Horton's coffee from Canada and said she HAD to try it. I was cracking up! My mom is pretty fanatic about Dunkin Donuts like me, plus she is a big fan of Starbucks. So I'll see what she says after she tries it.
there's no better coffee than Stauf's in Grandview. They roast their own beans...seriously, it's the best.
